The Wolfe Tones are an Irish rebel music band who incorporate elements of Irish traditional music in their songs. They are named after the Irish rebel and patriot Theobald Wolfe Tone, one of the leaders of the Irish Rebellion of 1798, with the double entendre that a wolf tone is a spurious sound that can affect instruments of the violin family.

Currently celebrating 46 years on the road, these legendary Dublin balladeers continue to be one of Ireland's biggest box office attractions. Having sold out prestigious venues during the past year across Ireland, the UK, mainland Europe and the U.S, they are scheduled to perform in the ABBEYFIELD HOTEL on JULY 11th 2010. Tickets are sold in Hotel Reception at €25.00 each.
